Contract workers, Delhi Govt., Regularisation

The AAP Government is on the move to regularise the thousands of contract workers who are engaged under the  various ministries. The details of the same are being collected. In the meanwhile, the Kejriwal Government has issued instructions not to retrench any contract labour.

We congratulate the AAP Delhi government in considering the case of the toiling workers. We hope that the Government will regularise the contract workers at the earliest. We also demand the central government and the BSNL to regularise the casual and contract workers engaged by them.

Congratulations AAP! Delhi Government cancels 100% FDI in Retail

Delhi Govt., Multi-Brand retail

The AAP Government in Delhi has cancelled the decision of the earlier Congress Government allowing 100% FDI in multi-brand retail. When the UPA government took the decision for 100% FDI in Multi-Brand Retail, there was strong opposition even from its allies. Most of the state governments under Congress implemented the same. Sheila Dikshit Government in Delhi not only implemented it, but also gave many more concessions.
The AAP Government has now cancelled the decision, which will help the retailers in a big way. Good action!

Contractual Workers in Delhi Government to be Regularised – Why not in BSNL?

contractual labour, Delhi Govt., Regularisation

It is one of the promise of the AAP – Regularisation of the contractual workers in government.
While speaking on the Confidence Vote in Delhi Assembly, AAP Minister Manish Sisodia stated the AAP government wants to regularise the contractual workers, working for the Government of Delhi.
We, BSNL CCWF, heartily welcome this statement. We hope that the AAP Government will fulfill it.
The BSNL Management have been denying the demand of the Regularisation of Casual workers in BSNL on the plea of a Supreme Court verdict. All the Central Govt. ministries and PSUs have regularised their workers. Now the Delhi State Government is going to regularise its workers.
What about the regularisation of the casual workers of BSNL who have been faithfully serving DOT and then BSNL?
Let us mobilise the entire casual and contract workers and force the BSNL management to regularise us! Today or tomorrow we are certain to win!

Aam Aadmi Party Moves Fast

AAP, Delhi Govt.

AAP after forming the government in Delhi is moving fast. Within days it has issued orders of free supply of water, reduction of charges for electricity and paying Rs. one crore to a police constable died while discharging his duty. All these are part of implementation of the Election Manifesto. The Ministers have not occupied palacious govt. bunglows like Ministers of congress and BJP. They are available to the people to meet.
But whether the Congress and BJP allow such pro-people decisions to be taken uninterruptedly? The reason – it will show the previous governments in poor light. Whether Congress will allow CWG scam to be enquired, in which the earlier govt.is directly involved. At any stage, the Congress can withdraw support. The BJP will be continuously opposing the AAP government.
Hence the AAP’s moving fast on decisions is the best policy. There need not be any compromise for continuing in power. How much welfare measures the government implement, more people will be in support. Continue with your programmes which will benefit the common people.

AAP, Delhi Govt.

The AAP is going to take the Delhi Government after the swearing in ceremony on 28th December 2013. There is no doubt that this will make a big difference from the corrupt administration during the BJP and Congress rules. My Best Wishes for the new government!
The new AAP government should steadfastly work to mitigate the sufferings of the toiling workers of Delhi who are inhumanly being exploited by the bureaucracy and contractors. Pro-people policy and decisions should be implemented at the earliest. The support given by the voters should be utilised for the improvement of the conditions of the people.

Corruption. Congress, Delhi Govt.

In the wake of the taking charge of Delhi by the AAP, it is exposed through a sting operation that many files in the Delhi Secretariat are being torn and burnt to avoid evidences of large scale corruption by the former Congress Government. The AAP will take charge after the swearing in ceremony tomorrow, 28th December.
Strong action should be taken in such criminal offences. There will be many such skeletons in the cupboard of the 15 year rule by Congress.
