All the CHQ Office bearers, circle Secretaries and District Secretaries of AIBDPA are requested to effectively intervene for maximum mobilisation of Pensioners so that the Mass DHARNA at SSA level on 25th May, 2017 is made a historical success.
After serving the notice for the agitational programme as per the decision of the Mysuru CEC to both Secretary, DOT and CMD, BSNL and successful conduct of the Call Attention Day on 20-04-2017, we could achieve the following three demands.
(1). Gratuity ceiling of Rs.20 lakh is extended to the BSNL Pensioners.
(2). Quarterly medical allowance restored partially to BSNL Pensioners.
(3). Free night call facility extended to BSNL Pensioners.
But more important issues like pension revision from 01-01-2017 are to be settled. So stronger struggles are warranted for pay revision and Pension revision. In this context, successful conduct of the Mass DHARNA on 25-05-2017 is quite imperative.
SO LET US MAKE IT A GRAND SUCCESS.
LET US MARCH FORWARD IN THE PATH OF STRUGGLE TO ACHIEVE THE GENUINE DEMANDS. (Courtesy: AIBDPA website)

The DOT and the central government is unnecessarily delaying grant of 78.2% IDA Pension fixation for pre-10-06-2013 and pre-2007 BSNL absorbed pensioners. The delay can not be justified at all. It is about three years since the 78.2% IDA was granted to the employees and to those retired after June 2013. But those retired before that date is yet to get the same.
The file is moving from desk to desk in DOT without finalisation. Assurances are plenty that the file will be sent to Cabinet early, but every time some new problem or unnecessary question arises and the files continues to be in DOT.
This discrimination and injustice should end. The BSNL pensioners should be granted to the pre- June 2013 and pre-2007 pensioners.
AIBDPA has called for massive protest by Dharna on 10th March 2016 demanding 78.2% IDA Pension fixation. Participate in the programme fully by bringing all the pensioners to the dharna.
We shall fight! We shall win! We shall not allow the government to cheat the pensioners of their hard earned right!
As per the call of the Staff Side, National Council, the Central Government employees, including Defence and Railways, will be organising a Massive Dharna at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. Nation wide Protest Demonstrations will be held all over the country on that day. The demands include immediate release of the CPC Report, Interim Relief, DA Merger etc. Extend solidarity and support.
NCCPA and AIBDPA have called upon the central & BSNL Pensioners to extend support and solidarity and take part in the dharna and demonstrations.
Make the Programme a big success!
As per decision of the BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation, UP(East) Circle, dharnas participated by a large number of casual contract workers were held in the SSA head quarters on 21-22 July demanding payment of wages for the last many months, payment of minimum wage, implementation of ESI, EPF etc. Despite many representations wages for 6-7 months are yet to be paid in most of the SSAs. Not even one half of the Minimum wage fixed by the Labour Department is paid. Brutal exploitation is continuing, despite clear orders from the CMD BSNL based on the labour laws.
It is against this brutal exploitation that the dharna has been organised.
We heartily congratulate the workers for the excellent dharna. We demand the BSNL Management to accept the demands of the workers and implement the government decisions on payment of wage, EPF, ESI etc.
The casual and contract workers in UP(East) Circle, as per the call of BSNLCCWF organised massive demonstrations in front of SSA offices demanding payment of minimum wages, implementation of social security measures like EPF, ESI etc. UP (East) is one circle where the BSNL Management and the contractors are violating all the labour rules and making payment far below the minimum wage. There are some places where only Rs. 500 or Rs. 1,000 is being paid for working for a month. Can you believe it. it is brutal exploitation.
The Casual and Contract Workers Federation, at SSA, Circle and all India level has demanded to ensure payment of minimum wage to these exploited workers, but the brutal exploitation continues. That is why the Circle Union of BSNL CCWF has decided to organise Dharna at SSA offices today, 23rd December.
The Dharna was organised at Pratapgharh, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Lucknow, Jaunpur, Allahabad, Sultanpur, Banda, Sheetapur, Lakhimpur, Bahraich, Basti, Ballia, Shajahanpur, Mau and other SSAs. The workers participated in large numbers. The BSNLEU leadership at all places gave maximum support and participated in the programmes.
We congratulate the workers and their leadership for the excellent conduct of the dharna. BSNLCCWF demands the BSNL Management to implement the labour laws including the Minimum Wage, EPF, ESI etc.
If the issues are not settled, then a March to CGM Office, Lucknow will be organised on 3rd March 2015.
