The last pension revision for BSNL Pensioners was implemented with effect from 01-01-2007. They are eligible for pension revision w.e.f. from 01-01-2017 as per convention and practice. But the same is denied by the central government on the plea that pay revision for BSNL employees is not done. How the pensioners can be responsible if BSNL has not implemented pay revision?
The present pensioners are recruited by DOT, government pension assured to them by the government at the time of corporatisation, their pension contribution is paid to the DOT by BSNL, that too at the maximum of the pay scale etc. fully make it incumbent upon the government to implement the pension revision. The fact that pay revision has not been made to the employees can not result in denial of pension revision.
AIBDPA will continue its agitational programmes to ensure that the pension revision is implemented by the government.

Sir, Pension is Fundamental right. IT Can’take denied by Dot as well as BSNL management. All pay and perks ofMP/MLA may increase at very little time but when it gives to employee of Government servants /PUB&PUS government denied each and every time. It is not good sign .
