The VII CPC is going to submit its recommendations by this month or within the end of  the year. The Pay revision will be with effect from 01-01-2016. In the case of PSU employees, it is to be from 01-01-2017.

For the executives in the PSUs, there will be a Pay Revision Committee. For the non-executives, it will be wage negotiation between the management and the recognised union/s. The negotiations last time took three – four years due to protracted discussions.

So it is necessary that the negotiation should start without any delay.
