19th May is the death anniversary of two Communist stalwarts, (1) Comrade P.Sundarayya, first General Secretary of CPI(M) & leader of the heroic Telegana Struggle and (2) Com.E.K.Nayanar, who was PBM CPI(M) and Chief Minister of Kerala. Both were leaders who walked out from the National Council of CPI in 1964 and were founders of the CPI(M).
Com.P.Sundarayya passed away in 1985 and Com.E.K.Nayanar in 2004 on 19th May.
