VII CPC is applicable to Central Govt. employees. Some states implement the same for their employees also. BSNL IS A PUBLIC SECTOR CORPORATION AND VII CPC IS NOT APPLICABLE TO ITS WORKERS.For BSNL non-executive employees, it is wage negotiation with management and wage agreement.
It is a fact there are millions and millions of jobless citizens. The CG employees and pensioneres need not be pampered at the expense of the national economy. The stricking employees should be cashiered out
Your comment is not based on facts. The VII CPC has actually denied the justified demands of the CG employees. Even the minimum wage recommended by the Indian Labour Conference in 1957 is denied to the. The so called increase is only the merger of the pay and DA granted on the basis of the cost of living index. If you compare the increased cost of essential commodities for the last 10 years, you will see that the increase in pay is less than that. If you compare with the increase in pay of MPs, MLAs and top officers, you will see that the increase of the employees are negligible. In fact, the Central Govt. employees have called for Indefinite Strike from 11-07-2016 against the retrograde recommendations of the VII (which the government is going to implement).
With regard to the crores of unemployment, it is the utter failure of the continued central government. While all concessions are given to the rich, MNCs, and top business barons, it is the employees and workers who correctly pay the due taxes. Tax evaders like Vijay Mallya are allowed to leave the country. The big business and private corporates who have taken lakhs of crores of rupees from the public banks are allowed to go scotfree. More and more concessions of lakh of crores are given to them from the government funds. While the tax of the common people are increased, there is reduction for the high taxers. It is mainly the wrong economic policy of the central government which increases poverty and unemployment. These policies have to be fought and not attack the meagre increase in the wages of the workers and employees.
