It is understood that 100 unabsorbed ITS officers, who are on deputation to BSNL, have now been transferred/repatriated to DOT and posted in CCA, on the basis of the Delhi High Court directive and consequent decision of BSNL C.O. One of the demands of the Forum has been that the unabsorbed ITS officers should be repatriated to DOT, if they are not willing to get absorbed in BSNL. BSNLEU, SNEA and AIBSNLEA had approached the Delhi High Court in this respect.

WELCOME DECISION. AT LAST WE WON FOR SURVIVAL.
I think, some how they will be brought back. All the unions should come on a common platform to throw out ITS officers from BSNL permanently. BSNL might be the only company whose top level management is not at all responsible for it profit and loss. The decision of a few 100’s irresponsible ITS officers was/will affecting lakhs of BSNL employees.
Sir… I cant understand what does it mean
Most of the ITS officers did not opt for BSNL, just like executives and non-executives, even though they are working in BSNL. Instead they are working on deputation, while continuing in govt. service.Now as per court direction, they are being repatriated to government from BSNL.
