It is reported that CMD BSNL has stated that decision on merger of BSNL and MTNL will be finalised within 3-4 months and that MTNL may be delisted. Before finalising any decision, in addition to the above, the HR issues as well as waiving of the liabilities of MTNL have to be sttled. These are the conditions placed by the Forum of BSNL Unions/ Associations before any merger of BSNL and MTNL can be decided.

Good afternoon sir,
Sir delisted means
Now MTNL is listed and shares disinvested. Delist means it will not be listed in the markets and the shares will be bought back.
sir i just got shocked when i saw the news yesterday… that two days strike which took place on 21st and 22nd bought the assurance that BSNL and MTNL will not be merged. Fake assurances and useless misguiding promises are made by the govt. we should strongly move against the decision. and what more surprising and unfortunate is that our CMD is also a part of the conspiracy…
Sir,
If the mtnl delisted and they merged in bsnl …………there will be salary problem in both the department employees…..how they will mske sure regarding this issue
