The TRAI has released the statistics of the broad band connections as on 31st March 2015. According to the same the broadband connections in India have crossed 99.20 million. BSNL which was in the first position in broadband for a very long period has now been relegated to the third place with 18.88 million connections. The top five positions in broadband are given below:
1) Bharti Airtel – 22.01 million 2) Vodafone – 19.37 million 3) BSNL – 18.88 million 4) Idea Cellular – 14.52 million 5) Reliance Communications – 7.94 million.
There are many applications pending for broadband connections with BSNL in almost all cities. Why BSNL is not able to give these connections? Forum leaders at field level should take up the issue urgently with the management. If it is due to lack of equipment, the BSNL management should be pressurized to purchase them immediately. Bring these problems to the notice of the All India Unions. We can not allow BSNL position going down and down.

Much more efforts are required. BSNL employees are capable of that. Only the workers have to be determined that they will spare no efforts in improving the BSNL service.A self introspection is necessary by all the workers. We shall win in the last.
there are lots of reasons for which bsnl broadband customer base is dipping.. management doesn’t care at all about what kind of equipments is necessary to all SSAs for a broadband connection. requesting them has become a formality and most importantly banks are denying to add bsnl broadband connection.. this one of the most anti situation now..we are still trying our best to assure banks that such problems like Link failure, cutting of fiber optics,slow connection etc will definitely be solved irrespective of any turmoil which bsnl is facing nw. Unbelievably a bank manager is replying straightly that “how could bsnl provide an uninterrupted service of broadband while it itself is struggling for its existence being a sick psu” we the casual and contract workers federation of Bengal circle demands a change on all this and sufficient allotment of equipments for every single broadband connection and also a major change in the negative attitude of the management. we urge to be more positive and customer centric. please save bsnl and our families
Local struggle has been a method of fighting against victimisation and implementation of orders, which was successful to a certain extent in the past. In the same way, local agitation for the improvement of services and making the management to response is a method which can be adoptd with the support of the people.

LEADS ARE NOT GETTING CONVERTED TO BUSINESS. 225000 EMPLOYEES DAILY THINK OF ADDING LL AND BB CONNECTION WHICH USE TO GET REGULAR FARE INCOME.

PROVIDING EQUIPMENT SHOULD NOT BE BORNE BY BSNL. AS WE PROVIDE ONLY SIM FOR MOBILE CONNECTION AND HANDSET AT THE WISH OF THE CUSTOMER TO PURCHASE. LANDLINE AND BROADBAND INSTRUMENTS TO BE GIVEN OPTION TO PURCHASE IN THE OPEN MARKET.
