In the name of improving the Railway Stations in the country, the NDA government seems to be in the process of privatising them or at least allowing private participation. This is what can be assumed from the speech of Prime minister Narendra Modi while inaugurating the Katra-Udhampur train in Jammu and Kashmir.
The case of Airport is there where Mumbai and Delhi Airport has been entrusted with private companies from the Airport Authority. While Airport Authority did not charge anything from the passengers, the private companies are charging hefty amount. In addition everything connected with these airports have become costlier. From tea and coffee to parking as well taxi charges.
If private participation is allowed the same thing will be repeated.
The people have to think whether privatisation of railway Stations is necessary?
Privatisation of Railway Stations ?

PRIVATIZATION IS NOT THE SOLUTION AND IT IS ONLY PUTTING COMMON MAN IN TROUBLE. MY WORST EXAMPLE IS PROFESSIONALISM OF PROFESSIONAL COURIER. SOME ITEM WAS BOOKED ON 26.06.2014 AT MYSORE BY PROFESSIONAL COURIER WITH THE PROMISE IT WILL REACH THE DESTINATION (ALTTC GHAZIABAD) WITHIN FIVE DAYS. AFTER SEVEN DAYS ALSO NOT REACHED. THE COMPUTER TRACK SHOWED DISPATCHED FROM DELHI TO GHAZIABAD ON 29.06.2014. THEN I SENT E MAILS TO MUMBAI OFFICE AND DELHI OFFICE. NO RESPONSE. NEXT DAY ALSO SENT ANOTHER EMAIL. THEY ASKED FOR THE DELIVERY ADDRESS THROUGH EMAIL. SENT IMMEDIATELY. THE TELEPHONE NUMBER GIVEN FOR GHAZIABAD WAS NOT WORKING. THEN CUSTOMER CARE PERSON PROMISED FOR DELIVERY BY YESTERDAY. NOT HAPPENED AGAIN I MAILED FOR THE POOR SERVICE. JUST I RECEIVED TODAY WHEN I WAS SEEING YOUR MAIL AFTER MUCH PERPETUATION AFTER 11DAYS. HAD IT BEEN REGISTERED PARCEL DEFINITELY POSTAL SERVICE WOULD HAVE DELIVERED EARLIER. THIS IS THE CONDITION OF PRIVATIZATION. IT IS ONLY FOR CORPORATE CUSTOMERS AND WHO LIVE IN CITIES.
