As per the call of All India BSNL-DOT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA), massive dharnas participated by hundreds of pensioners were held in each and every SSA demanding settlement of issues raised by the association in it’s Charter of Demands.
In Bangalore TD, hundreds of pensioners participated in the dharna held before the CTO complex premises. District Secretary Com. Prakash and other leaders led the dharna. Com. V.A.N.Namboodiri, Advisor AIBDPA as also President, AIBDPA addressed and spoke about the latest position of the 78.2% IDA fixation for pensioners, medical allowance issues etc. etc.

Dear Comrade, The union has got members from many cadres and it has to look after the issues of every body. Every cadres have their own problems and their issues need not be lightly seen. The unions of Casual and Contract workers and also Pesnioners will organise agitations on their demands. That is only natural. As far as pos-2007 recruitees, whether TTA, Sr. TOA, RM etc. are concerned, the union has taken the issue with maximum seriousness. In the 27th September strike decided by the BSNL Employees Union and the United Forum, the demand of post-2007 recruitees are given high priority as you can see in the strike notice and in the decisions of the Central Executive Committee held at Kolkata recently. Kindly go through the journals of the union as also the agitations being conducted for the demand. 3 days dharna was organised by BSNLEU on demands including the demand of the post-2007 recruitees and strike is being organised on 27th September.
