13th June 2017 is the 108th Birth Anniversary of the world renowned Communist leader and First Chief Minister of Kerala, Comrade EMS Namboodiripad. He was born in 1909. The first Kerala government under his Chief Minister ship changed the future of Kerala for the better. He was again Chief Minister from 1967-69.

The present LDF government in Kerala under Com. Pinarayi Vijayan is marching in the same path.

Red Salute to the great philosopher and politician who can be said as the Architect of Aikya Kerala!

1 May 2015 is the 102 Birth Anniversary of Comrade Puchalapalli Sundarayya, veteran Communist leader and  first General Secretary of the CPI(M) elected in 1964. He was born on 1st May 1913. His Birth Centenary was observed by the CPI(M) last year with many programmes through out one full year.

Com. P.Sundarayya was the leader who was part of the formation of the Communist Party in South India. He was the unquestioned leader of the Telengana struggle against the Nizam government and for the rights of the kisans and workers. He was a Member of Parliament and was also the opposition leader in the Parliament.

: Date of Martyrdom 23rd March 1931

23 years of short life and Martyrdom of Comrade Bhagat Singh strengthened the Independence Struggle and attracted lakhs and lakhs of young men to the revolutionary movement.

Nelson Mandela at 95 – Wish you early recovery

Nelson Mandela the South African Leader, who has become a legend in his own life-time , is completing 95 years on 18th July 2013. The icon who fought against apartheid as also for freedom of South Africa from the British was in jail for about 27 years including in solitary confinement in the Robben Island. Mandela is in hospital for the past few weeks, but it is stated that there is indication of some light recovery.

On his 95th Birth Anniversary, I wish him an early recovery and many more years to live!
