Meeting with CGM UP(E) on Casual Contract worker issues

Leaders of BSMLCCWF, BSNLEU met CGM Shri S.R.Shukla, CGM UP(E) today 3 November, at Lucknow and discussed about the implementation of labour laws, including wages, EPF etc. The nonimplementation of the  above in UP circle was also brought to his notice. CGM stated that efforts will be made to implement the same.

Meeting of BSNLCCWF, UP(E) Circle

A meeting of BSNLCCWF UP East Circle was held at Union office , Lucknow today, 3 November 2015, presided over by Com. RK Mishra, Circle President. Com. VAN Namboodiri, All India President, BSNLCCWF and Patron BSNLEU inaugurated.He spoke about the labour laws and rights of workers. He also spoke about the AIC and Charter of Demands.He stressed the need for strengthening Union
Coms. Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, BSNLCCWF, K.R.Yadav, Vice- President BSNLCCWF, Haridwar Yadav, Vice-President BSNLCCWF, Jeet Lal Maurya, Circle Secretary and other leaders addressed. The CEC decided agitational programmes for settlement of issues.
The CEC meeting was very purposeful.

Bonus (PLI) for BSNL employees

Puja Festival is over. Diwali festival is fast approaching. It is high time that BSNL takes a decision for Bonus(PLI) to its 2.25 lakh workers. BSNL can not ignore its dedicated workforce. They are to be further motivated. Bonus (PLI) is a must. This will help in improving BSNL services.

Air India to start Aviation University

Air India, Central PSU, is proposing to start an Aviation University at its Centre Training Establishment (CTE), Hyderabad.

Spread over 20 acres of land, the nearly 60-year old premium aviation training institute currently offers courses in all aspects of aviation including for pilots, cabin crew, engineers, aviation security and ground handling among others. The Aviation University will be opened with upgrading of these facilities.

 

 

 

Postal Workers to go on strike on 1-2 December 2015

Air India will purchase 25 more air-crafts for rural area services

In an expansion plan and to extend the services to rural India, the Air India, a Central PSU, has decided to purchase 25 air crafts. This will benefit the PSU in its reaching the interior of the country.

Bonus declared for for Singareni Collieries Workers

Bonus for the workers of the Singareni Collieries, PSU in A.P. has been declared. The Bonus will be Rs. 48,500 for each. An amount of Rs. 260 crore will be the total payment towards bonus by the company.

Corruption in BSNL

According to number of vigilance cases, BSNL is far ahead and probably is number 1. P and T Department was one of the most efficient and least corrupt.
How this change for the worst has come? How it is to be eradicated? If corruption could be eradicated, the financial position will certainly be improved.

Cicle Conference of AIBDPA UP West at Aligargh

The Circle Conference of AIBDPA UP West Circle was held today, 1 November 2015 at Aligargh. Com.Utham Sharma, Circle President, presided. Com.VAN Namboodiri, Advisor inaugurated the Conference. Coms.K.G.Jayaraj, General Secretary, AIBDPA, Sukhbir Singh, All India Org. Secretary BSNLEU, V.K.Yadav, Circle President, SNEA, Abdul Rashid, Circle Secretary AIBDPA, R.V.Singh, Trrasurer, Nabi Ahmed, DS BSNLEU  and other leaders addressed. There was good discussion by the delegates.
The Conference unanimously elected office bearers with Com.Utham Sharma as Circle President, Com. Abdul Rashid as Circle Secretary and Com. R.V.Singh as Treasurer. The house also decided to form AIBDPA in all SSAs without delay.
