As per the call of the co-ordinating committee of BSNLEU-AIBDPA-BSNLCCWF, mighty demonstrations were held in front of BSNL offices /Exchanges all over the country against the central government initiated National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP), which is moving ahead to hand over the valuable Public Sector Units (PSUs) to the corporates. Optical Fibre cables and Towers of BSNL and MTNL are proposed to be handed over to the private telecom companies, which will be disastrous for the people as well as BSNL.
