19th August is the 73rd death anniversary of Com.P.Krishna Pillai, one of the founders of the Communist Party in Kerala. Krishna Pillai was known to all as ‘Comrade’. He was a freedom fighter, organised many trade unions and led the Communist movement with total dedication. He passed away in his 42nd age by snake-bite while in underground in 1948.  Red Salute to Com.P.Krishna Pillai !
