Kerala LDF Government has increased the old age / social security pension being paid to Rs. 1600 from April 2021. It was only Rs. 600 when LDF government took over in 2016 and 18 months arrears were to be paid. LDF has promised that the pension will be increased to Rs.2,500 within the next five years.
