OCTOBER 1, 2017 – INTERNATIONAL DAY OF STRUGGLE FOR THE RIGHTS OF PENSIONERS

Capitalism is pushing new anti workers working class action against pensioners, and people. Solutions using government-administrators are temporary and weak, with no prospect or positive outlet for those whose work produce wealth in society and only give benefit to a handful of capitalists who gather in huge measure, the fruits of exploitation.

The measures taken by the leaders of capitalist development, with competition among capitalists as a motor, require new sacrifices from the working class, pensioners and the people, increased exploitation, and to end all rights remain. Greater limitation and abolition of public social security for the benefit of private, cancellation of collective agreements and extra payments to pensioners; plus a further reduction in costs for health, medicine, and social benefits.

All this complemented with new concessions to big capital through privatization of major sectors of the economy, energy, transport, water, natural resources, and new tax exemptions.

On behalf of capitalist competitiveness, pensioners and retirees worldwide worsening live your life and the lives of their children. Their pensions are cut, reduce health benefits and privatize, social structures dissolve, their rights are restricted in general.

To achieve these objectives own capital does not hesitate to resort to bloody conflicts and wars around the world, which violently appropriates wealth of many people on the planet.

We call to action, all our organizations and partner organizations, for next October 1, International Day of pensioners, with claims that correspond to our real needs, from the perspective of our struggle a society without exploitation, poverty, wars or calamities. Struggles do with unity and common action with the working class, the people and all those who suffer from capitalist exploitation.

We fought that way: For a free, public social security, health care and pharmaceutical care for all, without conditions or requirements. Let’s claim the right to public and adequate pension, reducing the age limits for men and for women earlier. Pensions that meet our current needs, so we can live a dignified life. For social benefits, housing, clean and right to leisure, public, free and quality water.

WE ARE NOT AGREE WITH THE CRUMBS BURSTING capitalist barbarity.

STRUGGLE FOR LIFE AND CONQUER THE FUTURE IN A SOCIETY WITHOUT EXPLOITATION IN BASE TO RICHES TO PRODUCE.

VIVA INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY

LONG LIVE THE DAY OF STRUGGLE OCTOBER 1!

death of children, Gorakhpur tragedy

The reports coming in the media and the newspapers clearly show that the death of 79 children in the Gorakhpur Hpospital in the recent days was nothing but ma made. The lack of oxygen was well known to the hospital and they have informed the government about the threat of the private oxygen supply company that they will not supply oxygen if the huge arrears of amount are not paid to them. The government did not take any action.  The UP government  is fully responsible for this tragedy. The valuable lives lost can not be brought back. But the culprits can be punished and the families can be financially helped at the least.

It is heart rendering news that 63 children in hospital in Gorakhpur in UP have died due to non-availability of Oxygen. We express our deep pain and extreme sorrow at this tragic incidence.

It is reported that the utter irresponsibility and negligence of the Hospital authorities and of the company supplying oxygen have been the reason for the deaths.

We demand immediate action against the culprits in the matter.

Do’nt create a ‘Hindu-Pakistan’ out of India _ Sitaram Yechury

11 Friday Aug 2017

New Delhi, Aug 9 : Highlighting the dangers of communalism, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury today warned against creating a “Hindu Pakistan” out of India.
He was speaking in the Rajya Sabha while participating in a special discussion to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement.
While talking about the freedom struggle, he said the country’s Independence also had the painful episode of partition attached to it.
Yechury, whose term as Rajya Sabha member is coming to an end with this session, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mentioned that communalism must quit India. “The question is — are we doing anything to make it quit?”
Reciting a couplet about communal harmony, he said a ‘Hindu Pakistan’ should not be created.
The CPI(M) leader recounted the contribution of several communist leaders in the fight against British rule. He said a lot of people in the cellular jail were communist leaders from Bengal and Punjab.
He, however, emphasised that attempts should not be made to appropriate the freedom struggle.
Yechury said there were two communist leaders – a maulana and a swami – who had moved a resolution for complete independence at a meeting of the Indian National Congress in 1921.
The Quit India movement belonged to the people and is a common heritage, he said.
He said the divide between the rich and poor was widening. From 49 percent earlier, the amount of the country’s GDP held by 1 percent of the country’s population has risen to 58.4 per cent.
The need is to eliminate neo-liberal policies and communalism, Yechury said. (Courtesy: Ganashakti)
