It is reported that CMD BSNL has stated at a meeting at Bengaluru that unless there is profit, wage revision can not take place in BSNL.
This is atrocious and unacceptable. The reason for loss to BSNL is due to the wrong policies and anti-PSU decisions of the govt and the casual attitude of the top management, who mainly belong to DOT and not to BSNL. Despite this unhealthy position, workers under the call of the Forum are trying their best to improve services under the programme ” Service With A Smile”.
Any move to deny wage revision will be met with strong resistence from the workers.
As stated earlier in this column, it is high time to start the wage negotiation in BSNL.

Com. No wage revision in 2017 may be. 2018but igot reply we get revision in 2017 before that get settle perks last week and 78; 2 arrears. Rangarajan

Let us fight for wage revision
Bargaining has been started in advance in the name of losses for not to pay or much less to pay while other loss making department /co. are not imposing such financial Burdon on the solders of their employees (No PLI, No LTC, HRA/SUA etc. on 68.8% BP etc. etc. ). They are much and more clever and smart bargainers and best chess players. As per their views only BSNL Opted employees/officer are fully responsible for all and any type of losses so they (BSNL Optees) may be crushed brutally and all type of losses may be recovered, to recover the health of BSNL, from the pocket of employees. All Unions/Associations of BSNL Employees/Officers may come together without any interest, ego, if and but, partiality, hitch etc. for solid democratic action and may be ready for hard bargaining.
All the unions /associations under the Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations are jointly fighting for the cause of the BSNL employees. Any union/s parting away will naturally be isolated by the workers.
