Deeply shocked and grieved to know that Comrade S.Prasanna Kumar, CITU General Secretary, Karnataka and a close friend of the telecom workers and BSNLEU, passed away today (23-12-2015) morning at Bengaluru due to acute heart attack. He was only 48. He was closely connected with the Public Sector TUs and also BSNLEU. He attended and addressed many meetings of BSNLEU. He took special interest in the Casual contract labour movement of BSNL.

Comrade, I am shocked to hear this bad news. He was our beloved comrade. I recollect his speeches in conferences/ meetings which were enriched by the issues and experiences of struggles, good inspiring. Red salute to Com Prasanna ! – Indra, Nagercoil.
