If the period for wage revision is taken as 10 years, as in the case of central Government Employees, the BSNL employees are due for wage revision in January 2017. If the demand of BSNLEU is accepted for 5 years, the wage revision is due from January 2012. For the executives in BSNL, pay revision depends upon the Pay Revision Committee to be appointed by the government. For the non-executives, it is through direct negotiations between the Management and the Recognised Unions.
Whatever be the position, it is high time that the wage negotiation starts. Last time it took about more than three years of hard negotiation and struggles including strikes to reach an agreement. (Of course, it was a very good wage revision). Even if the negotiation takes about one year, it is time to start the same. There need not be any delay in the matter.

Dear sir, it is exat time to start exercises for wage revision, employees r in doubt whether WR will come r not as Company in loss since years yogether (ofcourse it was a fabricated one) , if trials for WR started by the unions it gives some boost for them to joy for work, Please oblise n start work for WR_III.

On what basis, our employees are expecting pay revision. Based on 2 nd PRC terms bsnl should not get pay revised. If executives won’t won’t get PRC then automatically non executives ll also have the same fate. How bsnl can alone implement PRC while ITI, hmt etc are denied same from last 20 yrs citing losses as reason? Plz don’t misguide staff
BSNL is not yet declared a sick company like HMT and ITI. Further the losses are lesser for the last 2 years. It is our job to demand wage revision, instead of accepting the argument of the Management or the government.Our job is to defend the right of the workers. We may win, we may lose; that is to be seen.
