A meeting of the BSNL Casual and Contract Workers is being arranged in Pune on 8th June 2015. CITU leaders, Com. Nalwade, CS BSNLEU and other leaders will be attending the meeting. BSNLCCWF has demanded for implementation of Minimum Wage and EPF, which is yet to be implemented. Best Wishes for the Convention!

As I said earlier, letters, memorandums and meetings will not solve the problems of the casual and contract workers. We must have a strong organisation, all these workers should be members of the organisation and we should be able to organise sustained struggles and strikes. The working class in any sector have won only through sufferings and hard struggles. We have to strengthen our organisation much more for this. This is the main work that we have to urgently do. Neither the management nor the contractors nor the government will do any thing simply because we have given a letter.
