A large number of old customers are leaving BSNL. It is mainly because they are not satisfied with our present service.Hence we have to improve our service.
At the same time, whether any of us has gone to his office/residence and asked why he is surrendering our connection? Have we expressed our regret and requested the person to continue with us? In 99 per cent cases we don’t do that. I have no doubt that if we approach the customer and offer him better service, more than 50 per cent will come back . The customer is the person who pays to the company. . He has to be respected and his service is most important.
A happy customer is the
biggest asset of the company.
Have we approached the customer, who surrendered the BSNL connection?

another issue to be rectified….landline customers who have left their connection years ago even not paying the bill…we need to get back those money as soon as possible
Comrade you are absolutely correct but is our internal difference not the prime reason for decline of quality services. The main reason for decline of services is the policy matter trusted upon us by these non absorbed ITS officers. In all the circles they have formed a committee which looks upon BBNL project implementation at faster pace and not involving absorbed ITS officers in the project. These ITS officers ill treat absorbed officers and are the main hurdle in the development of the company. They want to see that BSNL is finished as they leave the company and go to BBNL after taking all the resource of our company. These sick minded ITS create hurdle in the progress of the company by unnecessarily raising objections. When we were way ahead in broadband segment why was latest technology of WCDMA not implemented which could have put us in lead way beyond other operators. Policy makers only played a major part in private operators and ours was a different where our policy makers only destroyed us. With MT recruitment under process these ITS wants to stall that also as done before. Now is the right time to tell them either be inside or get out of this company. Court deliberately delaying ITS issue, is it not the right time we take this issue to the public and highlight their misdeeds. Though some ITS are very honest and efficient but their associations prevent them also for discharging their duty efficiently. By highlighting the issue strongly we would be able to have our own officers who has to work for the company and restore the confidence of the employees that they are at least now under safe hands. Comrade request to take the issue at the right forum and save our company from the clutches of these self interest ITS lobby.
Dear Comrade, we have taken up these issues and is continuing. At the same time the responsibilty lie upon the executives and nonexecutives to deal with the public in a positive way and get their dupport. The public are mainly criticising the workers whom they face. They have to be told the truth. For thst we must give them better service, of course within our limitations. Thus we will be able to tell them why this situation. Without public support, no struggle is goint to win. Donot
fear approaching public. They will understand.
people are surrendering bsnl land line because mobile connection is cheaper. It is the technology change and the change in customer prefernce that are affecting bsnl.
what govt can do on that
Land line connections are of course surrendered in favour of mobiles. But this is one reason. But there are other reasons like faults not restored in time, continued cable faults etc.
