Com. K.G.Jayaraj, General secretary of All India BSNL DOT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA), the Pensioners Association of DOT and BSNL have supported the 21-22 April 2015 strike of BSNL Employees and called up to its members to organise demonstrations on the days. We thank AIBDPA and its members. The statement is given below:

THE TWO DAYS STRIKE IN BSNL ON 21-22, APRIL, 2015 BY THE FORUM OF BSNL UNIONS/ ASSOCIATIONS IS A DO OR DIE BATTLE TO PROTECT BSNL. 2.5 LAKH WORKERS BOTH EXECUTIVES AND NON EXECUTIVES ARE DETERMINED TO GO FOR THE STRIKE AS NO FRUITFUL DISCUSSION HELD TO AVERT THE STRIKE. THOUGH THE STRIKE NOTICE WAS SERVED LONG BEORE AND SEPERATE LETTERS SENT TO THE PRIME MINISTER AND THE COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER, THE APPROACH OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER TO IGNORE IT IS TO BE PROTESTED AND CONDEMNED. THE MAIN DEMAND FOR THE STRIKE IS TO REVIVE BSNL BY EXTENDING NECESSARY HELP BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE IT VIABLE AND ENSURE BETTER SEVICE TO THE CUSTOMERS.

ALL AIBDPA UNITS ARE REUESTED TO SUPPORT THE STRIKE BY ALL MEANS AND ALSO ORGANISE SOLIDARITY ACTION.
