BSNLEU, the recognised union has been demanding all along that 30% fitment should be granted to those newly recruited persons after 01-01-2007 also, but the BSNL management completely refused. Since the newly recruited JTOs, who are in a similar position have been granted five increments, the union demanded that at least that should be granted to the DR TTAs also. Again the management refused. Now the newly recruited JAOs are also granted five increments as in the case of JTOs. What about the DR TTAs? Despite our continued demands, the management is keeping silence.

Respected Sir,
With reference to the BSNLEU letter no- BSNLEU/103 (JAC), dated 05-11-12, regarding reduction in the wages of Non-Executive employees appointed on or after01.01.2007, GS BSNLEU Com. P. Abhimanyu very strongly demanded to place the long pending grievance of 30 % fitment benefit to post 2007 appointed employees in the agenda of United Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations.But the same is still pending at your end. Non-executive employees appointed after 2007 are suffering due to reduction in their wages and the issue has been raised several times before the management, but the issue still remain unsettled.
In the 5th AIC of SNATTA at Jaipur on 3rd& 4th Nov. 12, all the General Secretaries of BSNL Unions and Associations were of the same opinion that the demand of SNATTA over 30 % fitment issue is very genuine and fit to be included in the demands of United forum. Various unions have also supported the demand through their national websites. No Unions and Associations have different views over the issue. Nearly all unions have made series of representations in the matter but the grievance has not been redressed. This is causing genuine irritation and frustration amongst such category of employees.
As there are large no. of such employees(TTA, SrTOA, TM), we are raising this demand again to kindly place this issue in the agenda of United Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations at the earliest. This will definitely help to address the issue more effectively and will definitely fetch positive results.

The issue of 30% fitment to those recruited after 01-01-2007 ( dae of wage revision) has already taken by the BSNLEU and the United Forum also. The issue has been taken in the National council also. There is no difference in the demand among any union. This issue has also brought to the notice of the Joint Forum also. We are pursuing the case.

It is true that BSNLEU has taken up the issue seriously and written many letters. Many discussions have also taken place with the management. But so far the management has not agreed. That is why we are pursuing the matter again and again. There are many other issues also on which the management has not agreed withour demands. Because BSNLEU is the recognised union, it does not mean automatically that the management will agree every one of our demands. We will pursue such cases again and again.
sir only the indefinitly strike is the solution if the management ignore this demand….. why we should be ignore by the management plz take action .

Sir, some of the JTO from 2005 Batch joined in 2007 got fitment, If any non-executive joined in 2007 before the joining date of JTO and not get the fitment, that non-executive may defend to grant fitment since JTOs joined after him get it, on the ground of him, can we try to get the fitment for all post 2007 executives, if fitment not possible sir please convince the management to grant five increments at para with post 2007 Executives. the pay difference is continuously increasing, Sir you are the only hope to sort out this pay difference between two adjacent cadres (the duties and responsibilities are more or less equal) with nearly 30% pay difference should not be allowed sir, the pay diff should at least less than 15% – 20% sir,

BSNL management committee has approved change of posting jurisdiction of TTAs as SSA Cadre to circle Cadre. It will effect for future recruitment either by LICE or by direct recruitment. The TTAs recruited prior to this amendment will continue to be as SSA Cadre.
Sir, It is a trap, later all TTAs will be transferred around the circle and it will affect the carrier progression of TM not wiling to move to other SSAs will not appear for TTA LDCE, so please oppose this proposal or demand them to upgrade the pay scale of TTA by granting NE11 at least

My self is an assistant branch secretary of BSNLEU in Jalpaiguri,West Bengal..All the TTA s here are active members of our beloved Union. Several times Pressure from different sides came but all failed.,No unions can put any influence on us and also they could not open their account here. Recently a new batch is coming soon and we promise, our strength is going to be increased by all of them. I joined BSNL with lots of passion and expectation.But,the tragedy is all the negatives have been faced by me like I joined, PLI stopped, this very year,wage loss of Rs nearly 280,applied for LT C,co incidentally the freezing of LT C order Issued on the very day of my sanction date.It sounds like joke but very painful.We fighted with complete dedication on the issue of 78.2% IDA merger and very recently probably the the biggest achievement for our employees recently..But we are not eligible in this category. The truth is that except IDA and Yearly 3% increment we are not enlisted in any other benifits. every negative effect suffered by us but any positive struggled achievement we have not tasted.I have a serious question to you. ARE WE GURDIANLESS,?Was it a crime for us after completing B-Tech to enter as . a TTA in this BIGGEST TELECOMMUNICATION ORGANIZATION called BSNL. On behalf of all the DR TTAs I want to request you to please take that issue along with designation change at the highest priority level to encourage all the TTAs to work more and more seriously and encourage us to bring back the glory days of BSNL.IDA has also decreased on which we are heavily dependent.Please,think and do something for us as early as possible.Many TTAs are Taking extra responsibility of JTO look on and Most of them with out any financial benifit.very very sorry to say but the pulse is that we are for everything but nothing is for us except committees,date, discussion ,patience and depression Sorry to say but it this truth that still not a single powerful protest and target achievement pro gramme has been initiated by unions.. I am happy to know that you are an active worker of BSNLEU and an office bearers.
As already stated several times, we have been continuously taking up the issue for settling the same. The management has not agreed so far. But BSNLEU will continue pursuing the same. Now all the Non-executive unions together have given charter of demands, in which this is a major issue. If the issues are not settled, we will go on struggle. Some issues are settled quickly, but some take a lot of time. It is only a matter of time. We will have to solve the same.
