BSNL Quarters Allotted to BSNLEU to be vacated

BSNL Corporate Office has issued orders on 01-12-2015 to  BSNLEU to vacate within seven days D-7, Telegraph Place, Gole Market, New Delhi -110001 which is the quarter allotted to it.

The allottees of Telegraph Place quarters were asked to vacate the quarters about one year back by the Jharkand Government, stating that the Central Government has sold the property to them. BSNLEU and other occupants went to the court and got stay from the court.  Later agreement was reached by the BSNL/MTNL/Dept. of Posts and the Central government after the latter allotted quarters to them in lieu of the quarters in Telegraph Place.

Com. P. Abhimanyu, General Secretary, BSNLEU had requested to BSNL C.O. for allotment  of appropriate quarters for vacating D-7, the existing allotted quarters, about one year back and reminded also. But nothing was done by the C.O. Now all of a sudden,  CH-10, Atul Grove Road,an almost condemned Type-III quarters ( below the eligible type V/IV) is allotted with directions to immediately vacate the present quarters.

I am reminded of a similar instance in the past. Immediately after Coms. VAN Namboodiri as President and Moni Bose as General Secretary took charge of the E.III Union after Bhopal AIC, the NFTE was asked to vacate its Gole Market Quarters, which accommodated NFTE, Administrative Union and T.IV Union. All of a sudden, one day the Delhi Municipal Corporation demolition squad came and started demolishing the building after taking in to police custody Com.O.P.Gupta, Secretary General NFTE, who was on the spot and protested the demolition.

E.III Union immediately called for a strike against this attack on the NFTE. OP Gupta was released and another better quarter was allotted by the evening of next day. OP Gupta used to say that it was only due to the strike call given by Moni Bose-Namboodiri led E.III, that the issue was settled immediately.

We are at a loss to understand that why the Government/BSNL Management is so insensitive and ignoring the Main Recognised Union? Or is it without the knowledge of the CMD / Director (HR) BSNL, that such unusual actions are taken?

A village in UP gets electricity seven decades after Independence

Tags

,

It is reported in Times of India today that Sheetal Khera, a village only a few miles away from Lucknow, the capital of UP, has got electric connection now. It is 68 years since India got Independence. It is also reported that there are thousands of such villages in UP alone, where electricity has not reached so far. All over India, it may be lakhs of villages.

The NDA and UPA governments have to answer the people of this country why these villages have been neglected in your growth story. The continued governments have completely neglected the villagers. The poor has become poorer and rich richer, due to this discriminating policy. There should be an immediate end to such discrimination.

Babri Masjid

on 6th December 1992,the Babri Masjid was demolished by the RSS Brigade, a black crime against the secular fabric of the nation. Today is the 23rd anniversary of that Black Day.

The RSS Pariwar is continuing its conspiracies to divide the people of this country on religion, caste and what not. It has got to be opposed and defeated by the united strength of the people.
