The government has increased the present 2% DA to 4% with effect from 01-01-2017 for the the Central Government employees and pensioners.
If the government thought that this increase will make the CG employees to call off the strike announced for today or persuade at least some of the employees to desist from going on strike, it was mistaken. The workers understood the game of the government and went on complete strike.
I have doubt but industrial d a or cpsu employees and da increase for bank employees are not in tune with this why Sir? There period is different and also every three months .but then also a doubt . For them it is decrease for last six months
For Central Government employees, DA is calculated for every six months and granted w.e.f. 1st January and 1st July of every year. For the Public Sector employees it is calculated every three months and granted w.e.f. January, April, July and October. Naturally, there will be difference.
