Com.V.A.N.Namboodiri, President, BSNLCCWF, today, 23-01-2017, met Shri Ashuthosh Gupta, GM (Restructuring), Corporate Office and demanded that the new minimum wages as per the Gazette Notification dated 19th January 2017 issued by the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) be implemented for the contract workers in BSNL. GM (Restg) agreed to examine the issue urgently.

SIR General Manager Maintenance, Southern Telecom region, Bangalore not ready to pay newly sanctioned minimum wages. so some 20 labours in bsnl STR Mangalore section not received new wages.
The Gazette Notification is being forwarded by the Corporate office.
