As reported earlier, NITI Ayog has recommended to the government for the strategic sale of BSNL and MTNL, the PSU telecom companies.
Forum of BSNL Unions/ Associations has to immediately prepare for serious and sustained struggles to defeat the nefarious game of the government. Any delay will be suicidal.

Sir, Niti Aayog given suggested for divestment in Bsnl and Mtnl. But now Bsnl is profit,it is all off governament wrong policy on Bsnl……… there are some matter which Niti Aayog has suggested…………………..
In case of BSNL and MTNL, the official said, the companies were not present in the first list of 74 PSUs, despite being loss making, and could be considered by the Aayog for strategic disinvestment.
If a strategic divestment of the two telecom companies is made, government would lose majority shareholding in these firms.
Niti Aayog has been given the responsibility to identify Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) where government should exit from management control, to extent they should exit and what should be the mode of divestment.
We have to organise serious struggle.

In case of strategic sale of BSNL & MTNL, there will be no telecom operator under government control. What will happen to the security aspect of the country? Earlier, security wings of the government had reportedly told the government that they would rather depend only on the govt telecom operators in any emergency situation and not on private operators. Has NITI Ayog taken into consideration this very important aspect? If not, NITI Ayog has definitely taken an anti national stand, which must be opposed and defeated not only by the BSNL employees, but the patriotic people at large also.
