While travelling in the Mumbai- New Delhi Rajdhani yesterday, I found with pleasure that BSNL has started advertisements jointly with IRCTC (India Railways Catering Tourism Corporation). In the trays used for supplying breakfast, morning tea etc., advertisement of BSNL on “Service With A Smile” is presented.
Some of the passengers started discussion of BSNL and I also contributed my share. It was interesting that many passengers, despite its failures, were strongly supporting BSNL.

BSNL advertisement should be such like vodafone, airtel etc which attracts public with some messsage, we should not only bank on social issues but also some humour, pranks etc and a best advertising agency should be hired to give the best advertisement which will highlight Free National Roaming across India and Free Night calling and such advertisements should be telecast in prime slots and in big channels, Cinema Halls, Railway Stations, Airports etc. Have you seen the latest vodafone 4G advertisement and Airtels, even though they dont give 4G everywhere it is shown in a brighter mode and People are attacted towards it. Pl take up the issue as BSNL can really afford such advertisement instead wasting much in brand image which is not going to bring attention of the subscribers.
