An emergent meeting of the BSNLCCWF will be held at New Delhi on 4th September 2015 to discuss about agitational programmes and the All India Conference to be held at Kanyakumari on 3-4 October 2015.
Circle Secretaries are requested to bring the CHQ quota with them.
What a great information:
24 hour All India Strike wasn’t enough, we are to go for next agitational program and for that we need CEC meeting.
Perhaps the next meeting will decide upon next date of work-to-rule / Bandh / Strike / 1 hour agitation/ Lunch-hour agitation/ Shoting at the top of voice: “Break, destroy into powder, break black hand and destroy them of Management/ Ministry” and so on and so forth.
By these activities not only we shall gain love and sympathy from BSNL service users, we shall get pat on back from ministry as well.
Because these agitations and then meeting to fix next agitational date and method will surely turn around BSNL /MTNL from ashes to sky.
Cheer up BSNL/MTNL agitators / Association-Union leaders.
Long live AGITATIONS!
You are completely mistaken. The struggle of the Casual and contract workers in BSNL are for the implementation of the law of the land, that is existing for many years. The minimum wage fixed by the government is not being paid to the workers, although the company is spending the money. In many places, even half of it is not received by the workers. Brutal exploitation is taking place. If even Rs. 100/ from your salary is denied to you, will you allow them to continue like that. If your EPF money deducted from your salary is not paid to EPF Account, will you keep silent? If your are compelled to work on holiday, without compensation, will you agree? If you are thrown out without any reason, will you agree? If eight days of your wage is cut for single day strike, will you agree? Those who gets all these benefits do not know what is the present dismal condition of the casual and contract workers in BSNL. They are almost doing similar work in many sections, but are not getting even one third of the wages. It is against these atrocities and brutal exploitation that the casual and contract workers are thinking of struggle. It is your responsibility to support them and ensure that justice is meted out to them. And please remember that the present BSNL/Telecom employees got most of the present benefits through hundreds of sustained struggles, facing victimisation and the wrath of the then governments. Let us not ridicule the poor workers from standing on the ivory tower.
