It has been stated by EPFO that it had settled 11.06 lakh claims in June 2015 within 15 days and 38% of them within three days. It is a record. Naturally it has to settle the claims with good speed. But however, it is not known how much is pending.

I am a retired BSNL employee covered under EPF/EPS. I submitted pension claim on 21-11-2014 and the claim was settled on 01-07-2015, that too after personally visiting EPF Regional Office Chernnai four times and taking up the case through Bhavishya Nidhi Adalath on 10-06-2015.
