Disinvestment department is doing overtime to sell the family silver of the government. The latest is the sale of shares in PSUs, NTPC and Indian Oil.
It is reported that the Government has decided to sell 10% of share in IOC and 5% shares in NTPC, which is expected to fetch the government about Rs. 13,800 crores.
Will the government use a portion of these sale money to help the loss making PSUs like BSNL and MTNL. The sale money is of PSU and it can be used to help another PSU.
Is the government hearing?
there are many loss making psus which have not got wage revision from 1997 onwards, employees are getting salary once in six months.those loss making psu employees should be helped firest.
let the govt help loss making psu employees, not psus under the guise of revival.
The average age of sick psu employees is 54.govt should come out with attractive golden handshake to help the employees.
govt should not waste money for revival which is not at all possible in the competitive scenario.
Revival of sick PSUs are also important. The govt should be compelled to do that.
