The Staff Side of the National Council had a whole day session on 22nd December 2013, in preparation for the meeting of the National Council Meeting going to be held on 23rd instant.
Com.Islam Ahmad, Leader Staff Side presided and Com.P.Abhimanyu,Secretary Staff Side presented the issues to be discussed and other connected matters. it was a lively discussion. Both the recognised unions decided to have maximum co-ordination for settlement of the important issues.

agenda for listed casual laborers has gone away from national council meeting, which was added previous NC meeting. without settlement this issue has gone away. is it true that department and union leaders are taking this issue on same way? if leaders not, then how long we will have to wait? some of casuals are going towards age of 60, are they unfortunate?

The issue of casual labours are very well in the agenda of the union. BSNLEU as well as BSNLCCWF are trying to get the issue settled. But the management is completely against and is not prepared to settle. Their plea is that the Supreme Court has given judgment against regularisation of casual labour. BSNLCCWF is thinking going to the court on the issue of regularisation since the management has completely rejected. Once again it is requested that while giving comments kindly mention your name address etc.
