As reported earlier, Coms. V.A.N.Namboodiri, President, BSNLEU and K.G.Jayaraj, General Secretary, AIBDPA had met Ms. Annie Moraes, Member (Finance), Telecom Commission, on 19th September and discussed about implementation of 78.2% IDA pension fixation, resolving of 2000 pension Anomaly and other issues. She had assured that early action will be taken in the matter.
In the meeting of the SCOVA yesterday, 20 September, the Government has assured that on both the above issues orders will be issued by 30th September as intimated by Com. S.K.Vyas, Secretary General NCCPA and a participant in the meeting.
These are two of the issues which are also included in the 27th September strike notice issued by the BSNL Employees Union. The Forum of BSNL Unions/Associations had also taken up the matter seriously.
We are happy that the issues will be sorted out and settled without further delay. This will give big relief to the Pensioners.
thanks again
kindly update this page sir, the matter still ideal and the happy in the face of pensioners still missing!
Bsnl retirees should be paid fixed medical allowance .do the bsnl feel ever how much a retiree have to wander to the office for reimbursement of his medical bill. Being retiree no one listen him. He should be paid as well transport allowance bcz he have to round several times to his office till fixed medical allowance is not paid.
BSNLEU and AIBDPA have been continuously pressing the management to restore the medical allowance to the BSNL retirees. This is a major item in the agenda of the National Council. Management is continuing the denial on the ground of financial stringency.
