The proposed strike by BSNL workers from 12th June 2013 has been called off by the Forum of BSNL Unions / Associations consequent to the orders issued on 78.2% IDA fixation by the BSNL Management.

BSNLEU has raised the issue of the Compassionate Ground Appointments with the management several times including in the National Council. We wanted that the condition of 55 points as also the restriction that appointments is to be limited to 5% of the vacancies should be dropped. But the management is insisting that these are as per government instructions and can not be dropped. However, we are putting much pressure on the management for the same. Kindly contact the Circle / SSA District Secrtary of BSNLEU in your area to take up your particular case.
hello Sir, we are in bsnl from 2009 and are getting loss of pay as u all know. Now the Court order have been issued regarding 30 % fitment to solve the matter with bsnl. I request u to please discuss the issue with management as soon as possible as the order for 78.2 % has been implemented.We all expect result in our favour from your side. Please don not say to meet circle seceretary.
Dear Comrades, this matter has been taken with the management several times. In the CEC Meeting held at Kolkata on 7-9 July, this is included in the charter of demands on which agitational programmes are decided including strike. BSNLEU is strongly persuing the case.
