After persuation and sustained agitations by the unions, BSNL Board has decided to grant Child Care Leave, as per the orders of the Central Government, in BSNL also. Already it is too late. Now the BSNL Management can issue the orders tomorrow, 8th March, International Women’s Day, itself. It will be much appreciated by the staff.

Thankyou very much for the fight undertaken even for getting the due ccl. when we, in BSNL follow DOT’s Leave Rules word by word, granting of CCL has come now. Am working in BSNL and my second child is 17 years and 6 months. Am happy that other women like me in BSNL need not suffer for want and sanction of leave.
