Only 19 days are left for the 2 days strike on 20-21 February 2013 called for by the 11 Central trade unions on the most important demands of the workers and common people. In addition to the 11 Central Trade Unions, a large number of All India Federations and Unions have decided to participate in the strike. The Confederation of Central Government Employees have also issued notice. In BSNL most of the unions have decided to join the strike. It is expected that others will also join.
I eanestly request all the unions/associations in BSNL to join the strike and make it a complete success.

It is official now..Very sad to hear abt this news and too disgusted to work in a directionless and hopeless organization due to bond obligation. I dont know, what is meant by job security when salaries are not increased as per outside market and inflation. Its time now to get ready as per market requirements and get out. I dont think cable splicing CDAC card maintaincnce or loop checking wont have any career in out side market….
As per previous mail on 25-apr-2012,
There is no need to worry for next two to three years..Because we will
get our salaries with out delay and there is no facility to curtail as
already most of the extra incomes like LTC, medical, EL encashment are
withdrawn. And another good news is our loss increment rate is
decreasing. This year our loss is growing at slow pace to 8K crores
when compared to 6K crores of last year.
But our 2/3 years if present situation continues..
1. Our mini ratna will be lost as the case file is already at DPE section.
2. Our company will be referred to BFIR, so that for each one rupee
expenditure, BFIR board has to approve then only money will be
allocated.
3. Our company wil be declared as sick company..
After 5/6 years if present situation continues…
1. 7 th pay revision wont be applicable to us as we are in sick
company. Remember sick PSUs like HMT, BHPV employees are still getting
1992 pre revised salaries. Our friends in BHEL, BEL will get min 50K
basics but we may less than half of salaries when compared.
2. Company situation is considered by govt.. and they may implement
CRS which is a nominal amount for sick PSUs. And it may be divided
into no. of units to sell it to private firms at throw away rates.
