Hindustan machine Tools (HMT) is gradually shifting to manufacture of defence products. For some time the PSU was on loss and had to rent/sell its land etc. But now they have started producing defence products like weapons, missile parts etc. and may come out from the difficult times. ITI, which was also in similar difficulties has turned to defence equipments in the past few months.
Let both these PSUs, which have been the torch-bearers of growth in India, regain their past glory early. My Best Wishes for their early recovery and flourish!

There is need of hour for BSNL also to diversify its domain.In telecom there is hyper competition which will not yield any profits in near future. We can enter into
1. Education field by offering UG and PG courses by using existing man power and training infrastructure.
2. Telecom equipment field by using present telecom factories
3. Defence field by offering various telecom solutions to defence sector
it is impossible to regain glory by confining to telecom field only…

Your suggestions are welcome. But it is not lack of ideas, but it is the lack of committment on the part of the management for the growth of the company. As you have suggested, the unions have suggested many new ideas for development, expansion, new products etc., but all have fallen on deaf years. But still we have to continue our efforts.
