” Public Sector Units are the ‘Temples of Modern India’ ” – Jawaharlal Nehru, Prime minister of India, 1948.
“Business is not the business of Government” – BJP Government in 2000

Dear Comrade,
Perhaps you are aware that new economic policy as well as boosting up of Private Sectors and inviting foreign investment, was started at the time of Rajib Gandhi. But then in the midst of all confusions, when he failed to deny the fact that Public Sector Units, which were till then considered as pillars of Indian Economy, which had by this time completed its gestation period and were ready to fly to be reckoned as fast growing economy, he then declared in many meetings of the Trade Unions and Industrialists, that even though private sectors would be encouraged to flurished, but Public Sector Units will maintain their commanding height. Perhaps he was hesitant to dismentle the bases of Indian Economy which were built up by Pandit Nehru and Indira Gandhi, by establishing Robust Public Sector Units and through Nationalisation of Banks. But the present generation of ruling class, both Congress and BJP, are desperate to dismentle all the bases of self reliant economy and make India a totally dependant on Multinational Companies (while big burgeogies of India have also collaborated with MNCs) at the cost of the interest of the common masses, more specifically, down trodden toiling masses of India, whose scopes of employments and earning gradually squeezing. Let me know what is the opinion of you on these points.
Dear Comrade,
Though Rajiv Gandhi has initiated certain reforms, it was during the period og Narasimha Rao, that the new reforms started in earnest.
