After sustained struggles and pressure by the JAC / Joint Forum, the BSNL management has been compelled to procure equipment on a fast track basis. Although not in adequate quantities, telephone instruments, cables, drop-wires, Broadband Modems and GSM equipments are on the supply line to the field level. In some places they have reached, it is yet to reach in many other places.
After continued struggle we could obtain these. Now it is the responsiblity of the executives and non-executives to ensure that the development and expansion takes at a fast rate. This is our first real chance to improve the services and expansion, since earlier we were completely handicapped with the lack of all kinds of necessary equipments.
I hope that the SSA level management also will rise to the occasion. It is their job to ensure the supply of the equipments and motivate the workers for more and more expansion. The workers should take it as a challenge to increase the connections in mobile, landline, broadband and other services also better service. My suggestion is that each and every week the SSA level management and representatives of workers should meet, discuss the plans and implement it effectively as a crusade. The challenge of improving the services, providing more connections and getting more revenue is the task of the moment. Let us all pull together and restore the glory of BSNL.
Comrade, Really it is a great job, now the response is on all employees.But so far any meeting is not held in our SSA even though a letter is issued by CO ND for formation of Works committee in 2007 only.
However congratulations from Bijapur SSA for this achievement.
The order regarding holding of the Works Committee is still relevant. We have also demanded to hold it regularly. You have to insist with the management there. Saving BSNL is the most important thing.
The same condition is with MTNL. Without equipments, cables, drop wires, instruments etc we are unable to provide quality service to our valued customers. Will the management look into the matter

bsnleu has more then one lakh members which pays 20rs per month mean 20lakh per yaer and 3.60crore per year.can we make a trust with this money which can help the casual labour or bsnl employees because people are curious how are you spending this money.please dont ignore my message and come with some suitable answer

It seems that you are not a member of any union and is not aware of how the unions function and how the money is being spent. The subscription of Rs. 20 collected every month is distributed between the Branch, District, Circle and All India Union. All these units have to organise many activities like holding meetings, print journals and notices, organise agitational programmes, tour expenses etc. As far as All India Union is conserned, it receive Rs.5 a month. It is has to print two monthly journals which are supplied free to its members. Tours have to be undertaken and other expeditures are there. The Branch hold general body meetings now and then and the Annual Conference is being conducted yearly. In the case of District, Circle and All India Conferences are being held once in two years. Audited accounts are presented in these conferences and any body can raise any questions and seek clarification. After discussion it is adopted. Such transparent methods are adopted by the union and the same is appreciated by all the workers. If you are not already a member of any union, please enrol as a member of the BSNLEU and experience how the union is functioning. The Union is functioning in an extremely democratic manner and any member can raise any issue in these meetings and conferences and get satisfactory reply.
