The anomaly committee held today discussed the issue in detail and has arrived to the general conclusion that the issue should be settled by allowing the seniors who are getting less than their juniors in the lower grade after the wage revision from CDA to IDA in 2000 should be stepped up to the pay of the junior. The next meeting which will be held in the first/second week of June will finalise the report.

A Telephone Mechanic of 20 year service with pay scale 04720-150-06970 is renewed to 09020-17430 on wage revision.
He is previously drawing basic as 6370 is fixed to 13860 in new scale
If there is any wage revision, he must get a salary greater than previous one
But fact is, without fixation he losses his net pay (16960-14185) =2775
Then how can UNION say WAGE REVISION occurs ???????
Salary on April 2010
Basic Pay -6370
D.A -7405
D.P -3185
TOTAL -16960
Salary on May-2010(after wage revision)
Basic pay -13860(with 30%fitment)
-10523(without fitment)
D.A -4823
-3662 (Without fitment)
Total -14185(without fitment)
Salary Difference – 16960-14185
– 2775 loss + STRIKE DAY SALARY !!!!!
COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME CAN WE CALL IT AS A WAGE REVISION OR WAGE DEDUCTION…
THIS IS NOT A SINGLE CASE… IT IS HAPPENED TO ALL INCLUDING YOU……
So from next time, please call it as “basic revision” instead of wage revision
Similar case has already been taken by the union with the management in the National Council also. However kindly send a copy of your fixation order and all relevant particulars to me so that it can be examined in detail and for taking up.
Another matter. Anomalies have happened in all Central Pay Commissions and in the first wage revision of BSNL employees from CDA to IDA scale also. But nobody calls all these pay commissions and wage revision as wage deduction. The responsibility of the union is to see that they are settled. That is what the union is doing. Already the issue has been discussed several times.
Dear Comrade,
The 24th NCM had agreed to form a committee outside the National Council to address the issue of wage erosion of Post 2007 Non-Executives. Is there any meeting conducted by that committe ??? Please update its progress…

Discussion has already taken place, but so far the management has not agreed to our demand in the case of non-executives recruited after 2007, including the TTAs. We are making maximum efforts.
A similar case of 2005 GEJTO is present in Bihar circle. A backlog vacancy recruitment conducted in Bihar circle. One TTA joined on Sept 2006 and others joined after2007. First one got fitment but others not. That means same recruitment with same strarting basic ie 7100 got two basic after revision. But this problem not settled yet why ? even not taken up this matter by your union.
Kindly send all details with regard to this case, including the recruitment particulars, training period, joing dates of the candidates etc. which will help in pursuing the case.
Sir, please see the update on SNEA’s website on 22.05.2012
“..Committee formed to make recommendations on a) E2, E3 pay scales, 2) implementation of CPSU cadre hierarchy as per the terms and conditions of absorption and 3) diversion of 600 DGM posts is reconstituted with PGM(SR) as Chairman.”
The Executive unions are so strong that they are able to achieve all the demands from management, but the Non-Executive Union fails to attain even the least. Both Executive Union leaders and their websites talking for the issues and goals of that cadre where as Non-Executive leaders and site dealing with International Issues…
We the Non-Executive employees in BSNL need a better and strong union in BSNL for us…….
