At last there is some result for the continued agitation of the JAC for the last few years. DOT has issued clear instructions to the ITS officers to give their options. Probably understanding their reluctance to absorb in BSNL, all those who are not giving absorption in BSNL have been asked to report at Delhi by the last date of option ie. 8th November 2011.
It seems that DOT means business, to sort out the issue once for all.
Let us see in the coming days what is going to happen. I think the present move by DOT may be able to sort out the issue.

OK Comrade TUs may claim a big victory on the qn of ITS. What is the alternative.. Executive unions want that posts.. what is the guarantee that they perform better than ITS. NE unions are not able to show any alternative plan to meet the issue of ITS if all gone to surplus cell.. what is wrong in using the wisdom of ITS who were born with us and grownup with us in the DOT.. whether they opt or not opting.. Unfortunately we all made loud noises for a non issue

The absorption of ITS is not a non-issue. In fact, it is a very crucial issue as far as the growth and development of BSNL is concerned. I do’nt think there is any such big organisation, the top management of which is almost completly maaned by deputationists. It is not the question of capability, but a question of commitment to the organisation, being part of the organisation. Leaving the anti-PSU policy agressively being implemented by the Government, the second most important reason for the present crisis of the BSNL is either the incapacity of the top managment or the utter failure to deal with the crucial issues. Top managment is responsible for the same. You will agree, that had the ITS officers been absorbed, the situation would hsve been different..
Is it wise to think that BSNL wont be able to find capable ones from it’s pool. ITS dominated the executives and these executives in turn are not allowing young engineers to come up the ladder.
Can you say that people who stay back are committed.Ask the public and let them vote yes or no

ITS flocks are but belly managers,who are ecstatic to get perks and salary without doing any work,which we see nowadays they are inside the surplus cell waiting some to come to lift them like cricket players taken on auction by paying crores of rupees.In their case no body will come,
I think tey are spoiled thenselves by the ragging culture these self conceited sawants have acquired from their curriculam.There is no hope of any improvement so to say they are either knowing management or technical skill-thanks to the technology from other countries and best wishes for no technoloy of our own to feel proud of.Know this that with this kind of managers this is the solution that we will depend on other countries and remain in troubled water.Be aware that people around you are not dullards even though yor are richly deserving to be called dullards.
