The draft of the National Telecom Policy 2011 is being finalised by the Ministry of Communications. It is expected that it may be ready within one or two weeks.The Joint Action Committee had submitted a detailed note in the matter to the Communications Minister two months back. An additional note will be given within a few days considering the latest developments. Comrades and friends who have got any important points in the matter can intimate the same so that they can also be included if found appropriate. The policy will include issues like spectrum allotment, licencing conditions, pricing etc.

Draft copy is not yet released. It is only in the process of drafting by the Government. But you can send your suggestions.
Sir, Could you kindly brief us on the details of additional note which is likely to be submitted. It might give us few ideas to come out with valid points in support of your note.
THe New Telecom Policy consists of the policy on licensing, allotment of spectrum, about universal service etc. You can give your suggestions.
