World Federation of Trade Unions(WFTU)is the strong and militant world organisation uniting a large number of trade unions in the world. The left TUs like CITU, AITUC are all affiliates of WFTU. Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), the militant and strong organisation of the workers of South Africa had discontinued its affiliation for some period.Now in the latest Conference of the COSATU held at Johannasburg from 17-20 September 2012, it had decided again to affiliate with WFTU.
