It seems that for the first time, top executives of Bharti Airtel, Essar etc. have been made accused in the 2 G Scam case including allocation of additional spectrum. They were asked to appear before the Special CBI judge O.P.Saini by the supreme Court. Yesterday, 16th April, they appeared furnished personal bonds. The case is posted for 22nd April.

It is well known that the top executives of many private telcos are directly involved in the allocation of 2G spectrum, which the CAG has stated has resulted in Rs.1.76 lakh crore to the government. Telecom Minister A.Raja was jailed for months in this connection.
