War Veterans Return medals against diluted OROP orders

Modi Government has cheated the defence retirees by issuing a diluted order on OROP, far below the expectations of the latter. Hence, they are continuing protest by returning the war medals to the Government. It is stated that more than 2000 medals have been returned in Delhi alone. We fully support the cause of the defence retirees.

Modi Government promises one thing; but no delivery. Resentment is growing in all sectors.

After the utter defeat in Bihar, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely says that this is not a reflection on Modi Government. Fine! But if BJP had won, what would have been the   claim? Only because of Modi the great win   has taken place.

It is difficult to find another Sultan or King in India who has fought so much battles against the British and won. But in the last fight he was defeated and killed.
According to history he was not  communal and had ruled the country without any hatred against any other religion. The Karnataka Govt. is fully justified in organising  a homage to Tippu.

Following the statements from academics and writers in India, more than hundred academics and historians from many countries has urged President of India, Prime Minister and Chief Justice to uphold law and Constitution allowing free and fearless expression of views, ensuring security for all sections of society and safeguarding values and traditions of plurality in Indian Society.

Any delay in ending the intolerance i the country will be disastrous. Prime Minister Mr. Modi listening?

TUs decides for strike in Tea Gardens, W.Bengal

More than 20 trade unions  in the tea gardens, W.Bengal, has decided to go on token strike on 1 December 2015 demanding medical facilities, payment of wages in time etc. Only Trinamool trade union is keeping away from strike. Despite many assurances, Mamata Govt. has not taken any action to settle the issues and hence the strike.

Winter Session of Parliament from 26 Nov. to 23 December

The winter session of Parliament will be held from 26 November to 23 December 2015 as per media reports. Whether the BJP Government will learn lessons from its utter defeat in Bihar and change its wrong  policies?

OROP Ordered – Why not 78.2% IDA Pension Merger for BSNL Retirees?

We appreciate govt. decision on OROP, though it is too late and not up to the demand of defence pensioners. The BSNL pensioners are now asking why not the govt. take is taking  action to order 78.2% IDA Pension fixation to those retired before June 2013? The government should act immediately.

MTNL closes CDMA Services in Delhi

MTNL has closed its CDMA services in Delhi as per media reports. It has already surrendered part of its CDMA spectrum to the DOT and the same has been auctioned by the latter. But whether the refund is given to MTNL or not is not known. As per the same report, the revenue both for landline as well as mobile have been reduced.

The Government should urgently provide financial assistance to MTNL to improve  its services. The government can not sit tight and allow the company to fall down.
