A.K.G.Bhawan, the Head Quarters of the CPI(M) was inaugurated on 19th October 1991 by Com. B.T.Ranadive, PBM CPI(M).The name was given in memory of the indomitable fighter of the working class and CPI(M) PB Member Com. A.K.Gopalan, who passed away on 22nd March 1977.
