COAI, the cellular Operators Association of India, has assured the Communications Minister that they will invest Rs.12,000 crores in the telecom sector for improving the connectivity and services. The assurance is given in the backdrop of the TRAI decision to penalise the telecom operators for call drops. COAI also requested that they many not be penalised for call drops.
