19th September 2015, the 47th Anniversary  of the “One Day Token Strike of 19th September 1968” was observed as “Martyrs’ Day” in many centres in Kerala. The speakers spoke about the historic strike and how the government attacked with all the forces available. They also spoke how the One Day strike became a rallying point of the CG Employees for fighting against victimisation of the strike.

This is one strike which will be remembered for a very long time for the strike as well as the fight against the brutal victimisation of the workers.
