NEW DELHI: Government’s role in business is facilitating it, not micro management, Power Minister Piyush Goyal said here today.

“We need to do away with government controls.  The government’s job is not to businesses but facilitate business,” he said at the ET Global Business Summit here.

It is the same. Vajpayee Government has stated the same: “Business is not the business of the Government” and started selling the PSUs at cheap rates. Now the Modi Government has also started selling the PSUs or rather gifting away the same to corporates. 6 PSUs are already in the list for sale.
